The Husson Eagles walloped Gallaudet University 63-2 Saturday afternoon and claimed their third straight Eastern Collegiate Football Conference (ECFC) title. It comes with an automatic bid the NCAA Division III playoffs.

Senior quarterback Cory Brandon had a historic day passing the ball. Five touchdown throws,15-for-21 and 404 yards. The 404 yards is a school record.

Four of the TD passes were caught by senior Kyle Gaudet - 21 yards, 82 yards, 61 yards and 41 yards. Gaudet totalted seven catches for 249 yards.

Miece Loureiro ran the ball 15 times for 139 yards and two TDs.

As Husson racked up 684 yards of offense, the Eagles defense was smothering the Bison, allowing just 43 yards of total offense.

Conference play is over for Husson and the Eagles finish 6-0 (7-2 overall). It marks the final game the ECFC before moving into the Commonwealth Coast Conference next year. The Eagles finish by winning 22 straight conference games.

Husson plays a non-conference game at Plymouth State next Saturday then it's selection Sunday for the upcoming NCAA playoffs.

Galladudet is now 3-1 ECFC and 3-4 overall.
