Ellsworth Boys’ Soccer Shuts Out Hermon 5-0

A night after defeating Hermon 2-1 in Ellsworth, the Ellsworth Boys' Soccer Team defeated Hermon 5-0 at Pottle Field in Hermon on Thursday, September 29th.

Cruz Coffin had a hat trick with 3 goals for the Eagles. Luke Perry and Miles Palmer each had a goal.

Kal Laslie had 2 assists, with Owen Frank, Silas Montigny and Miles Palmer each recording an assist.

Cooper Mitchell was in net for the Eagles while Connor Meservey was in goal for Hermon.

Ellsworth is now 6-1. The Eagles travel up to Presque Isle on Saturday, October 1st to play the Wildcats at 4 p.m.

Hermon is now 1-7. The Hawks travel to Bar Harbor to play the MDI Trojans on Saturday, October 1st at 2 p.m.

In the JV Game, Ellsworth remained unbeaten, defeating  Hermon 1-0. Alex McGowan scored the lone goal, assisted by Hunter Boles. Jackson Barry was in goal for Ellsworth.

Tuesday we will then compile the nominees and it will be your turn to choose the winner! You can then cast your votes, and voting will close Thursday night at 11:59 p.m. We will then announce the winner online and on air on Friday each week!

We are also looking for reports of High School Soccer, Field Hockey, Football, Volleyball and Golf results. If you can email them HERE we will write recaps nightly. We need the score, who scored the goal, and any highlights. For golf results, if you can send a photo of the scoresheet that would be fantastic!
