Former Cony QB Is ECFC Player of Week

Former Cony High School quarterback Mitchell Caron, now a junior at Castleton University in Vermont, is the ECFC Player of the Week. Caron led his Spartans to a 35-31 win over Mount Ida on Saturday.

Caron was 12-for-16 passing, 227 yards and two touchdowns. He also ran for a touchdown.

Through five games the former Cony Rams QB is 53-for-108, 661 yards, 4 TDs, 2 interceptions. Caron has also rushed for 2 TDs.

The win over Mount Ida put the Sparans at 2-0 in conference play and 3-2 overall.

Castleton plays at Husson (2-0 ECFC, 4-1 Overall) Saturday in a game featuring the last two ECFC teams without a conference loss.
