Mitch Fossier scored a last minute goal in overtime and the UMaine Black Bears beat Boston College 2-1 Saturday. That means a weekend sweep for the Bears and a move ahead of the Eagles in the Hockey East standings.

Jeremy Swayman was brilliant in goal again, stopping 33 shots.

After BC scored their only goal of the night in the first period, Maine's Brendan Robbins tied the game with a late second period goal.

It stayed 1-1 until Fossier lit the lamp in overtime.

The win improves UMaine's Hockey East record to 10-8-4, good for a tie for 5th place with Boston University. The Bears are now 14-14-4 overall.
