Friend, Pomeroy Big 11 Player of the Year

MCI and WInsow quarterbacks Ryan Friend and Colby Pomeroy share Big 11 Conference Player of the Year honors.

Friend threw for 1,415 yards and 20 touchdowns in regular season play. He rushed for another 622 and five TDs. The Huskies won the league title and played in the Class C state title game.

Pomeroy threw for 715 yards and 10 TDs while rushing for 229 yards and eight TDs.
