Hermon High School senior softball player Hailey Perry signed her National Letter of Intent in front of family and friends Tuesday evening. She will play for the UMaine Black Bears.

Perry helped her Hermon Hawks team go undefeated and get the #1 seed in Class B. She was named an PVC all conference team has a catcher. She hit over .600 with four home runs and 39 RBI.

She is one of three softball players in the state to sign with Division I programs during this signing period.

Coach Mike Courtts and the Black Bear softball team won the America East Conference title last spring and played in the NCAA tournament.
