Hewes, Prouty, Fremouw Vie For Athlete Of The Week
It's time to choose our high school athlete of the week.

Libby Hewes (Brewer HS Softball): The Witches are off to a 7-0 start (27 game win streak) and the senior pitcher has all seven wins in the circle. Last week, Hewes pitched seven total innings vs Lawrence and Nokomis, recording 11 strikeouts.
Carson Prouty (Bangor HS Baseball): The junior lefty pitched a complete game road shutout last week at Edward Little. The Rams won 5-0. Prouty struck out eight and needed just 81 pitches through his seven innings of work.
Kell Fremouw (Orono HS Canoe Racing Team): The USA Wildwater National Committee has selected Kell to compete on the 2019 USA Junior Team that will compete in Bosnia in July at the International Canoe Federation Wildwater Junior World Championships. Fremouw is captain of the Orono HS canoe racing varsity team.
