It wasn't the ending we were hoping for, as the Acadians lost to defending champions Troy Post 13-3 in the opening game of the American Legion World Series, but Daniel Howie made history!

The Coaches from the American Legion North Division have rekindled a tradition of voting on awards, honoring the player's accomplishments for the 2023 season. Here are the All North 1st Team, 2nd Team and Honorable Mentions

The Trenton Acadians beat Coffey Post 6-1 on Sunday afternoon in Worcester Massachusetts to win the Northeast Senior Legion Regionals and will head to the Shelby, North Carolina to play in the 96th American Legion World Series, August 10th-15th.

The Trenton Acadians lost for the 1st time Saturday, in the double-elimination Northeast Regional in Worcester, falling to Greece, New York, 13-1, in a 5-inning run-ruled game.

The Trenton Acadians were trailing 3-0 in their game with Cumberland Rhode Island going into the 6th inning on Friday afternoon. But the Acadians scored 1 run in the 6th, and then tied it in the 7th inning after scoring 2 runs. They then scored 4 runs in the 8th to remain unbeaten, in the double-elimination Northeast Regionals in Worcester, Massachusetts.

The Trenton Acadians Senior Legion Team (Team Maine) handed Franklin Post 75 their 1st loss of the season on Thursday, August 3rd beating the Massachusetts Champion 14-8 in the Northeast Regionals, sending 15 batters to the plate in the 5th inning, scoring 9 runs

The Trenton Acadians Senior Legion team beat the New Hampshire Senior Legion Champions, Coffey Post #3, 3-1, Wednesday morning, August 2nd in the opening game of the Northeast Regional Tournament at Fitton Field in Worcester, Massachusetts.

The Trenton Senior and Junior Legion Baseball Teams both won the their Legion Tournaments on Saturday. The Senior Team defeated Hampden 2-0 while the Junior Team defeated Capital Area 4-3.

The Trenton Acadians Senior Legion Team banged out 14 hits, scoring in every inning except the 2nd, and beat the Franklin County Flyers 11-3 on Friday, to advance to the finals on Saturday. They will play the Hampden Riverdogs.

The Hamden Riverdogs Senior Legion Baseball Team stayed alive in the Senior Legion Tournament in Augusta, beating Central Maine 6-2 on Friday afternoon.
