Four days after setting a Natanis Golf Club record score, Mt. Ararat High School golfer Caleb Manuel fired a 3-over par 75 to lead his team to its second straight Class  A Maine Team State Championship.

Class A:  The Eagles team score was 325. Falmouth and Greely finished in a tie for 2nd place, two shots back.

Armand Ouellette from Thornton Academy was medalist with a 1-over par 73.

Class B:  York HS won the state title with a team score of 342. Old Town finished in 5th place and Hermon was 6th.

The Hawks Nate Allain (PVC medalist) and Aiden Rand from Old Town shot 89, tied for 10th place in scoring.

Class C:  Kents Hill shot a 332 to win the state championship. Orono finished in 2nd place, 10 shots back. Houlton finished tied for 4th place.

Mitch Tarrio from Kents Hill shot a 2-unde par 70. Orono's Franc Fowler was runnerup with a 76 and Orono's Zack Dill finished 3rd. Houlton's Collin Moody placed tied for 5th.

NOTE: The Maine Individual State Championship tournament is next Saturday. Mt. Ararat's Manuel is the defending champ.
