The MCI Huskies are going back to another state championship football game after pounding top seed Winslow 49-21 Saturday afternoon.

Coach Tom Bertrand and his Huskies will in a state title game for the fifth time in the last six years. In 2014. 2015 and 2016 MCI played in the Class D game. In 2017 the Huskies won the Class C title.

Saturday's regional final victory comes after the Black Raiders had won the regular season matchup, 61-37, in week six.

The Huskies were led by junior quarterback Ryan Friend and senior running back Isaac Buzzell. Friend threw two touchdown passes and ran 47 yards for another score. Buzzell carried for three touchdowns, from two yards, 17 yards and one yard.

MCI will take on Leavitt for the state title in Class C Friday night at Alfond Stadium in Orono.
