The Husson University Men's Basketball Team fell to St. Joseph's 89-69 at Newman Gymnasium on Saturday November 15th.

St. Joseph's led 41-26 at the end of the 1st Half.

St. Joseph's had 4 players in double figures led by John Paul Frazier with  20 points. Davis Mann, Remijo Wani and Wani Donato all had 15 points. Donato had a double-double ripping down 12 rebounds.

The Monks shot 51.5 percent from the floor and were 7-21 from beyond the 3-point arc. They were 12-18 from the free throw line.

Husson was led by Andre McCauley with a game-high 22 points. Gil Matondo and Connor Heald each had 12 points, while Eric Ahlers had 11 points. Pierce Walston from Orono finished with 2 points and 2 assists along with 5 steals.

Husson shot just 34.3 percent from the floor and were 5-26 from beyond the 3-point arc. They were 18-28 from the free throw line.

St. Joseph's outrebounded Maine 47-39. The Monks had 52 points in the paint, while Husson had 30 points.

St. Joseph's is now 2-1 overall while Husson is 1-1

Husson hosts Bates College on Tuesday, November 18th at 7:30 p.m.
