Husson’s Smith ECFC Player of the Week

Husson University senior lineman Tarik Smith is the Eastern Collegiate Football Conference (ECFC) Defensive Player of the Week for his efforts in the Eagles 48-16 win over Dean College.

Smith recorded six tackles, including two sacks, three tackles for a loss and forced two fumbles.

The Eagles defense allowed just 69 rushing yards to Dean.

NOTE: Freshman LB Tyreek Bromley was named ECFC Rookie of the Week. He recovered two fumbles...The Eagles play at Alfred State (NY) this week.
