John Bapst Boys Beat Ellsworth 2-1 in Overtime

The John Bapst Crusaders beat the Ellsworth Eagles 2-1 in overtime at the University of Maine on Saturday morning, September 23rd.

The game was tied 1-1 after regulation

Kal Laslie had scored for the Eagles, assisted by Cruz Coffin.

Ethan Marquis had scored for the Crusaders.

With 58 seconds gone in the 5 minute Overtime, Logan Hart scored the winning goal, to give the Crusaders the 2-1 win.

In the JV game, John Bapst beat Ellsworth 4-0.

John Bapst is now 7-1 on the season. They will host Caribou on Wednesday, September 27th at 3:30 p.m.

Ellsworth is now 5-2. They will host Hermon on Wednesday, September 27th at 6 p.m.
