Grandparents are the best. Yes, your parents will always love you...yatta yatta yatta... but your grandparents give you some of the most unique love of all time.

When you are grown, at least in my experience, grandparents tell it to you straight. They love you unconditionally, but if you have a bad haircut, need a shave, or don't have your life figured out...they'll let you know.

When you are a baby, however, no one spoils you like a grandparent. Grandparents often have the best job. They get to be fun, sugar the kids up, and send them back to their parents. Plus, again in my experience, grandparents give the best gifts.

Well, one grandpa in New England gifted his grandkids a MASSIVE rubber duck, and it has caught the attention of the entire community, and now New England.

Rubber Duck on Wickford Shipyard, North Kingston, Rhode Island

Wes, the grandpa, got the 20-foot-tall duck for his grandkids and displayed it where he worked as the owner of the Wickfor Shipyard. After the community began driving by, calling to show appreciation for the joy the duck brought, Grandpa Wes expanded his massive duck gift and added little ducklings.

It was just a grandpa being a good grandpa.

Although that 20-foot duck is pretty big, big enough for boaters to notice from a ways out on the water, it has nothing on the world's largest rubber duck that was on the East Coast last year. That was a record-breaking 30,000 pounds, or 15 tons, and 60 feet tall.
