Jones Wins Top Two NAC Weekly Awards

Husson Eagles junior Jen Jones was so dominate in the circle and at the plate last week that she has been named the North Atlantic Conference Pitcher of the Week and Player of the Week.

Jones helped her team go 3-1 for the week.

As a pitcher, she threw in all four games. Jones picked up two wins and a save. In 17 innings, she struck out 26 and had an ERA of 0.41.

At the plate, Jones batted .417 with a RBI and scored four runs.

NOTES: Freshman Whitney Bess was named NAC Rookie of the Week. The outfielder/third baseman hit .500 with four RBI and three runs scored...On the baseball side, Husson second baseman Kobe Rogerson was named NAC Rookie of the Week after he hit .450 with five RBI and two steals.... Husson players also won conference lacrosse award - Maddy Olsen wins Player of the Week and Mary Cushing is Rookie of the Week.
