Kelly Scores Career Goal #111
The three-time state champion Camden Hills High School girls soccer team opened the 2019 season with a 3-1 over rival Bangor Thursday evening.
Senior forward Kristina Kelly led the way with a goal and an assist for the Windjammers. She now has 111 goals in her four year career.
Kelly got the game's first goal on a header with about 11 to play in the first half.
Just before halftime, the Windjammers made it 2-0 when Kaylyn Krul scored on a pass from Kelly.
Sophomore Ali Tassoni made it a 3-0 game with just four minutes to play.
Bangor's Emilyn Streams got the Rams on the scoreboard a half minute later and the game ended 3-1.
The Rams and Windjammers meet in Camden on October 1st.
