Maine's Nick Mayo set more Eastern Kentucky University basektball history over the weekend. He scored 24 points in a win over Southeast Missouri and became the first player in EKU history to reach 2,000 career points (2.021).

Mayo, the former Messalonskee HS standout, is already the EKU all-time scoring leader. And, he is just the 18th player in Ohio Valley Conference to scored 2,000 points.

The victory puts the Colonels at 9-10, (2-4 OVC).
