McGovern Shines On Senior Night [VIDEO]

Senior night could not have turned out any better for Rob McGovern and his fellow classmates. McGovern stopped all 30 shots as the UMaine Black Bears shutout Boston University 6-0 at Alfond Arena.

It was McGovern's first start of the year and he helped the Bears finish the regular season with a 15-15-4 record (11-9-4 Hockey East).

Maine finishes as a #6 seed for the Hockey East playoffs and will take on #3 Northeastern in a best-of-three series starting Friday night.

Another senior, Brendan Robbins scored twice, his 8th and 9th goals of the year.

The other scorers - Chase Pearson, Tim Doherty, Brady Keeper and Mitch Fossier.
