MCI’s Buker Wins Athlete Of The Week
Josh Buker of Maine Central Institute has won the High School Athlete of the Week with 51 percent of the total vote over Colby Lee of MDI.
Buker helped lead the Huskies to a big 41-0 victory over Dexter in the Class D North Regional title game. He went 7-11 on pass attempts for 127 yards with a TD, and had ten rushes for 78 yards, including another score. The Huskies head now to the state title game for the third straight season and will take on Lisbon this weekend.
The MCI QB narrowly took home the vote of the almost 1,000 submissions this week.
