Former University of Maine Black Bear Christophe Mulumba Tshimanga has received an invite to camp with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

The former Black Bear linebacker had drawn interest by a few NFL and CFL teams before agreeing to head to Tampa Bay for a camp invite, according to Canadian sports reporter CA Sinotte.  Mulumba was born in Congo, but later moved to Canada where he was raised and later recruited to play football at UMaine.  He tallied 97 tackles for the Black Bears as a senior.

Should the linebacker stay in camp with the Bucs, you may be able to see the former UMaine star on Hard Knocks, as Tampa Bay was announced to be the focus of the show this upcoming season.

Mulumba joins Pat Ricard and Jeremy Salmon as Black Bears who have drawn interest from the NFL.  Ricard signed an unrestricted free agent deal over the weekend with the Baltimore Ravens, while Salmon was invited to Rookie Camp with the Buffalo Bills.
