BREAKING NEWS: Maine's Austin Theriault will race in his second straight NASCAR Monster Energy Cup Series race this weekend - at Pocono Raceway in Pennslyvania.

He'll be driving the #52 Bangor Savings Bank sponsored car owned by Rick Ware Racing.

Theriault made his Cup Series debut last Sunday at New Hampshire Motor Speedway, finishing in 35th place after exiting the race early because of rear gear mechanical issues.

The Fort Kent driver became the first Mainer to race in a Cup Series race since Ricky Craven back in 2004.

The NASCAR race schedule for Pocono Raceway includes two practice sessions Saturday morning and then pole qualifying at 4pm.

The Pocono track is nicknamed the 'Tricky Triangle' because of its unique configuration of a tri-oval that is 2.5 miles long
