Online voting for the U.S. Cellular MVP Coach Award closes today at 1pm and Hodgdon High School softball coach Sarah Williams is in third place in the voting among the final 15 up for the award.

The vote makes up 50% final score for determining the Coach of the Year honor. The other 50% is determined by a panel that will look at the impact the coach has had on the school and community.

That panel includes WNBA basketball player Maya Moore and Green Bay Packers WR Randall Cobb.

NOTE: Williams has already earned $5,000 for her school by making the top 15. The announcement of Coach of the Year comes Tuesday, November 20th. The winners receives $50,000 for their school. Second place earns $20,000 and third place earns $10,000.
