Husson University basketball teams will be playing about 20 miles apart in the Boston area tonight for the first round of the NCAA Division III playoffs.

The Husson men take on nationally ranked #3 Babson at 7:30pm. It will be a first time meeting between the two programs. The Beavers are 25-2 and in the NCAA field for a fourth consecutive year.

The Eagles are 21-6 and playing in their 6th NCAA tourney. Raheem Anderson and Mitch Worcester lead an offense that is scoring abou 93 PPG in their last five games.

New Jersey City vs Skidmore is the other matchup in this regional.

The Husson women will play at the Tufts University regional and will meet DeSales University from Pennsylvania in a 5pm game today.

DeSales enters with a 20-7 record and making its first NCAA appearance in six years.

Husson comes in with a 22-4 record and plays on the national stage for the second straight year. The Eagles lost to Albright, another Pennsylvania school, last year.

Tufts (25-2) is the #4 team in the nation. The Jumbos host St. Joseph's College from Standish in the 7pm game.
