NCAA Tourney: Eagles Get Bowdoin
It's a good news, bad news draw for the Husson Eagles in the upcoming NCAA Division III Tournament.
The good news is the trip will be a short one - down to Brunswick to play the Bowdoin Polar Bears.
The bad news - Bowdoin is ranked #3 or #5 in the nation, depending on which poll you go by.
The (19-9) Eagles will meet the (24-2) Polar Bears Friday night. The winner advances to play Saturday night.
Husson and Bowdoin played a non-conference game back on January 16th. The Polar Bears won 88-58. Kenzie Worcester led the Eagles with 19 points. Husson has gone 12-2 since that game.
NOTE: The St. Jospeh's Monks and the University of New England Noreasters are also in the 64-team field...Check out out the full bracket by clicking here...
