Orono Vs John Bapst Ready For Alfond Stadium

The final week of the high school football season gets an early start - Orono and John Bapst play their game on tonight at UMaine's Alfond Stadium. The two LTC schools have been playing this yearly matchup on the turf at UMaine for the past few years.

As always, this game is important for both sides.

The Red Riots are are fighting for a home playoff berth. With a 4-3 record, the Riots might need a win to finish #3 or #4 which would give them a home playoff game. Orono begins the week in 4th place.

The Crusaders simply need to win. At 2-5, this young John Bapst team must win to have any chance of sniffing post season. JB is currently in 7th place.

Remember the top two teams in the LTC gets first week byes. #3 plays #6 and #4 plays #5 in that first round of the playoffs.

Kickoff tonight at Alfond Stadium is 7:30PM.
