Pirates Beat P-Bruins In OT
The Portland Pirates beat Boston Bruins first round draft pick, goalie Malcom Subban with a powerplay goal in overtime to win 4-3 in AHL play. Gilbert Brule scored the game winner for the Pirates.
Subban, who is the younger brother of Montreal defenseman P.K.Subban, made 24 saves. Louis Dominque had to make 43 saves for Portland.
The Pirates improve their record to 6-5, good for 4th place in the division. The Baby Bruins are 7-5-1 and that has them in 2nd place in the same division.
