Plourde Wins Maine Women’s Amateur Title [SCORES]

Twice a runner-up, Newcastle's Bailey Plourde is now a Maine Women's Amateur Champion. The Centre College golfer carded a 5-over 78 in today's final round at Rockland Golf Course.

That score was three shots better than Jordan Laplume, a young player from Old Orchard Beach who is heading to Merrimack College in the fall to play golf.

Plourde finished the tournament with a +13 (232) score. Laplume finished +16 (235).

Plourde is a four-time Maine Junior Amateur champ and now adds the Maine Women's Amateur title to her resume.
