Conference championship day in high school cross country. The Penobscot Valley Conference (PVC) and the Kennebec Valley Athletic Conference (KVAC).

In KVAC A/B girls:  Bangor's Lydia Gilmore, Brewer's Olivia Mosca and Bangor's Erin McCarthy finished 1-2-3 but Camden Hillls HS had the most depth and won Class A with 57 points. Bangor was runner up with 83. Brewer finished 6th.

Medomak Valley HS won Class B girls.

On the boys side in the KVAC:  Mt. Ararat Lisandro Berry-Gaviria placed first, Brunswick's Will Shaughnessy was second and Bangor's Dan McCarthy was third. That's how it finished in team competition Mt. A - Brunswick - Bangor.

Lincoln Academy won Class B boys.

PVC B/C girls:  Two freshmen runners, Presque Isle's Anna Jandreau (Class B) and GSA's Thea Crowley (Class C) were the top runners. MDI and Orono were the team conference winners.

PVC B/C boys:  Hermon's Dylan Fowler (Class B) and Orono's Thorin Saucier (Class C) were the top runners. MDI and Orono claimed PVC team titles.

NOTE: Cross country regional championship day is next Saturday, October 26th and state title day in November 2nd.
