UMaine hockey snapped its long road game losing skid with a bang. The Black Bears won at UMMass Lowell Saturday 6-2, getting goals from five different players.

Maine had gone 23 games without posting a road win.

But the Bears jumped on the River Hawks for two goals in the first period and three in the second period. Eduards Tralmaks scored two goals and one each from Danny Perez, Brady Keeper, Nolan Vesey and Mitch Fossier.

Jeremy Swayman made 28 saves in goal to get the win.

The Black Bears are now 2-2 in HE (3-5 overall). UML falls to 1-5 and 4-6.

Maine does not have any games on the schedule this week and then play a two set with Boston University next.
