Saturday's state title games included a record fifth straight state championship for Bangor Rams baseball, a first-ever title win for Brewer baseball and the completion of a perfect season by the Brewer softball team.

Class A baseball

Bangor 10, Gorham 6
The Rams became the first team to win five consecutive Class A baseball championships. Bangor scored five runs in the top of the first, but Gorham came back with four runs in the bottom of the inning, and actually led 6-5 after three innings.

Class B baseball

Brewer 3, Wells 2
Brewer won the game on a walk-off single by senior Josiah Cyr. It was Brewer's first-ever state title in baseball.

Class C baseball

Hall-Dale 2, Houlton 1
Hall-Dale won its first state baseball championship since 2001. Senior pitcher Cole Lockhart allowed just three hits and helped his own cause with an RBI in the second inning.

Class D baseball

Richmond 11, Fort Fairfield 0
Richmond pitcher Zack Small pitched a no-hitter as the Bobcats defeated Fort Fairfield in five innings.

Class A softball

Scarborough 12, Oxford Hills 0
The Red Storm finish an undefeated season, and won their second straight state title. Scarborough won via the mercy rule after scoring 11 runs in the bottom of the sixth.

Class B softball

Brewer 1, Greely 0
Libby Hewes threw a four-hit shutout to lead Brewer to its first state title since 2008. The Witches finish the season undefeated at 20-0.

Class C softball

Madison 7, Narraguagus 3
The Bulldogs win their third state championship in five years and complete an undefeated season.

Class D softball

Greenville 4, Penobscot Valley 3
Greenville won its first-ever title in its first-ever title game, knocking off defending state champ Penobscot Valley.
