Shires Stay Unbeaten [HS SCORES]

Houlton's Kolleen Bouchard and Central's Sydney Allen spent most of the night facing a double team defense and so other players had to step up. In the end, Bouchard's teammates did a better job of that and the Shiretowners beat the Red Devils 52-39.

Houlton stays unbeaten at 16-0 while Central drops to 14-2, the two losses to the Shires.

Bouchard did finish as the top scorer with 18 points, 16 of them in the second half. Houlton's other starters chipped in - Teagan Ewings with 10, Tessa Solomon with nine, Aspen Flewelling with eight and Kristen Graham with six.

Allen led Central with 17 points. No other player had more than eight.
