The Bangor Rams used a strong second half to beat the Lawrence Bulldogs 54-41 and avenge their only loss of the season to the team that handed them that loss a month ago. After the teams battled back and forth in the first half leading to a 24-24 score at the break, the Rams stepped up their play on both ends of the floor to pull out the win. Cordelia Stewart scored all of her 15 points in the final two quarters after spending most of the first half on the bench in foul trouble. Mary Butler led Bangor with 16 points.

The Bulldogs Nia Irving scored 10 points in the first half but was frustrated by the Rams defense after halftime as they gave her little space to move around the basket. She did finish with a game high 18 points but was scoreless in the third quarter as Bangor built up its lead.

Bangor is now 16-1 heading into their regular season finale against Brewer tonight. The Bulldogs are 15-1 with two games left on their schedule.
