The Husson Eagles are still looking for that first win of the year after getting burned by SUNY Morrisville 42-15 Saturday afternoon in western New York.

The loss drops the Eagles to 0-3.

After a scoreless first quarter the Mustangs hung 21 points on Husson in the second quarter and tacked on another 14 points in the third quarter.

The Eagles finally got on the scoreboard in the fourth quarter on touchdown runs by Keyshaun Robinson and Santiago Isaza but it was too little, too late.

SUNY Morrisville rolled up 446 yards of offense to Husson's 284.

Eagles QB David Morrison went 16-for-29 and 189 yards with no TDs.

Freshman Arthur Brefil was the top rusher for the Eagles with 68 yards on 19 carries.

Mustangs QB Bill Flatow threw for 214 yards and two TDs.

SUNY Morrisville (Empire 8 Conference) is now 2-2. Husson drops to 0-3.

The Eagles jump into their new conference, the Commonwealth Coast Conference, next Saturday when they play at Becker College.
