Truth Or Throck – Football Draft Stories

The NFL draft starts Thursday and Tim Throckmorton is a closet draft guru, and he found some great stories of selections gone by. Can you figure out which one is made up by Tim?

He uncovered or created stories about a player who turned down a spot in the NFL after being draft by Washington in back to back years. He also crafted or found a story about the 1982 draft where two players with the same name were drafted, but the one that went first was supposed to be the other one. He also discovered or manufactured a story about two players being drafted in the in to the CFL despite their untimely deaths.

Two of those stories are true, and Tim only fabricated one of them.
