UAlbany NCAA Run Is Over [VIDEO]
America East Conference women's champ Albany had its NCAA run end today, losing to Syracuse 76-59. The Great Danes season ends with a 28-5 record.
AE player-of-the-year Shereesha Richards scored 23 points and Imani Tate had 11 to lead Albany.
Syracuse got 24 from Brittney Sykes.
The Orange make their first ever trip to the Sweet 16 next.
NOTE; The UAlbany team qualified for the NCAA tourney with a one point win over UMaine in the AE title game.
