UM Field Hockey In Top 20 Poll [VIDEO]

The University of the Maine field hockey moved up to #20 in the recent National Field Hockey Coaches Association poll released on Tuesday.

The Black Bears just missed out in the Top 20 in the initial poll, but took the final spot with 156 total votes.  Maine is 4-0 to start the season after besting Dartmouth on Monday afternoon by a score of 7-3.

Madison Cummings of Belfast, ME also won the America East player of the Week for her efforts against Hofstra and Dartmouth, scoring five goals and combining for 10 total points.

The Black Bears will next play on Friday when they face the Boston University Terriers on the road.
