UMaine’s Eric White America East Player Of The Week

One thing you can count on this season is when America East announces its weekly honors, a UMaine Black Bear is sure to be on the list.Eric White has been named the conference player of the week after batting .545 over the weekend with 2 RBIs and 5 runs scored. The third baseman also stole two bases and was 12 for 12 on chances in the field.

White is the third Black Bear to receive the honor this season. Maine has also had three pitchers and two rookies of the week.

The Bears currently have a 6-3 record in America East placing them first in the conference. This week they host Binghamton for a weekend series.
