13 days ago, Brady Keeper was a defenseman for the UMaine Black Bears trying to help his team keep its season going in the quarterfinal round of the Hockey East playoffs. Last night, Brady Keeper was a defenseman in the NHL playing for the Florida Panthers.

The Black Bears lost that playoffs. The 22-year-old Keeper signed a contract with the Panthers, starting practice with them on March 19th and made his NHL debut last night vs the Ottawa Senators.

Keeper was on the ice for 12:40 in the Panthers 5-2 win over the Senators last night. He had one shot, one block and two hits. Keeper took 18 shifts.

For the Black Bears, Keep was third in points this season with seven goals and 15 assists for 22 points.
