Walsh Makes Assistant Coach Hires

New UMaine men's basketball head coach has hired two assistants - Matt O'Brien from Vermont and Zak Boisvert who comes from Farleigh-Dickinson.

O'Brien spent the past 6 seasons with the Catamounts. Before his time in Vermont, he spent 3 seasons with Walsh at Rhode Island College. O'Brien's father is a UMaine grad and played football for the Bears in the 1970s.

Boisvert is a Portland, Maine native. He spent last season as an assistant at Fairleigh-Dickinson. The previous season Boisvert was an assistant coach at Iona.
