The Colby College Mules showed Bangor area hoops fans why they are ranked #5 in the nation in Division III. A 97-70 victory over the Husson University Eagles Tuesday night to improve to 16-0.

The first 10 minutes of the game was back and forth scoring.

Then the Mules went on a 32-8 run and led by 18 points at the half.

Colby outscored Husson by nine in the second half.

The Mules were led by Sam Jefferson, the reigning NESCAC Player of the Week, with 21 points. Alex Dorian added 20.

Colby shot 50% from the field and 42% on three-pointers

Husson got a career high 31 from Justice Kendall and 17 from Justin Thompson.

The 16-0 Mules move back into conference play this weekend. The 6-9 Eagles do the same with road games in New York.
