Bangor Auditorium Floor Has New Home At Old Town-Orono Y

The iconic Bangor Auditorium has now been replaced by a parking lot but a piece of its history has a new life.Prior to receiving the wrecking ball, the basketball court was removed and turned over to the Old Town - Orono YMCA. Volunteers at the Y removed the aging floor in the main gymnasium over the summer and have permanently installed the Auditorium floor which will serve the facility for many years to come. After the installation the floor was sanded down and given a brand new finish, now sporting the YMCA colors and logo.
