Bears Prep Inside For NCAA Playoff Game

Mother Nature threw the UMaine football team a little curveball yesterday with her snow and rain filled Tuesday as preparations continue for Saturday's NCAA playoff game.

So the Bears practiced inside at the Mahaney Dome on campus. And, some of the practice took place in the fieldhouse.

(8-3) UMaine will host (9-3) Jacksonville State (AL) on Saturday at noon in the second round of the NCAA FCS playoffs.

Coach Joe Harasymiak says he plans to get outdoors on the field for practice over the next couple of days.

NOTE: The latest forecast is still calling for a cloudy day with temperatures in the 30s on Saturday.
