Bad start...great finish. That's the best way to describe Friday night's 7-4 UMaine hockey win at Quinnipiac.

The Bobcats faced out to a 3-0 lead just ten minutes into the game.

The Black Bears eventually got the game tied 3-3 by the end of the second period.

After spotting Quinnipiac a 4-3 lead in the final period, Maine blitzed the Bobcats with four goals. Eduards Tralmaks scored the game tying goal on a highlight reel play (see above). Then the Bears scored three times in a 1:12 span to wrap things up.

UMaine goalie Jeremy Swayman gave up the four goals on 50 shots.

The win gets the Black Bears back to .500 and 7-7-1. Game two of the series tonight at 7pm.
