Black Bears Climb To #13 In Nation

The UMaine Black Bears have climbed to #13 in the nation in this week's STATS/FCS Poll despite being on a bye week.

The rise from #17 to #13 comes because 12 teams ranked in the Top 25 a week ago lost on Saturday. Several teams were ahead of the Black Bears in last week's poll.

Maine is the third highest ranked CAA team (#2 James Madison, #12 Elon).

With wins over New Hampshire and FBS Western Kentucky, the (2-0) Black Bears jump back into play this Saturday when they play another FBS game at Central Michigan.
