
Maine Men’s Basketball Falls to Merrimack 72-65
The Maine Men's Basketball Team fell to Merrimack 72-65 on the road on Wednesday night, November 19th.
Maine trailed 34-27 at the end of the 1st Half.
The Black Bears were led by TJ Biel who had 18 points while Keelan Steele had 13 points.
It was a rough night for Ace Flagg has he had 4 points and 4 rebounds and 2 assists with a block before fouling out after playing 21 minutes.
Maine shot well from the field, shooting 46.5 percent from the field and were 4-15 from beyond the 3-point arc. The Black Bears were 21-30 from the free throw line.
Maine outrebounded Merrimack 35-26. But Maine turned the ball over 17 times in the game.
Merrimack shot 46.9 percent from the field and were 6-22 from beyond the 3-point arc. They were 20-31 from the free throw line
Merrimack is now 2-3, while Maine starts the season at 0-5.
