Make it five straight conference wins for the UMaine women's team after a 66-45 win over Vermont last night at the Cross Center in Bangor.

Blanca Millan led a hot-shooting Black Bear team with 22 points as she went 4-for-7 (57%) from the three-point line.

As a team, Maine shot 58% shooting threes (11-for-19).

Parise Rossignol had 14 points while Tanesha Sutton had 12.

The Black Bears are 9-1 in America East and 16-7 overall.

Vermont is 5-5 and 9-13.

Vermont Men 86  UMaine 63: Meanwhile, the UMaine men's two game win streaks ends in Burlington, Vermont.

The Catamounts got 50 combined points from Ernie Duncan and Anthony Lamb.

Isaiah White had 21 for Maine.

The Bears drop to 3-6 and 5-19.

UVM is 8-1 and 18-5.
