The UMaine Black Bears split an America East twinbill on Saturday afternoon, winning the first game 4-3 and dropping the second one 5-3.

Danny Casals hit an 8th inning home run to give the Black Bears a lead in the first game. It was his 8th homer of the season.

Nick Silva pitched the first seven innings, allowing just three runs and struck eight.

Trevor Delaite worked the last two innings to get the win.

The Seawolves came back to beat Maine 5-3 in the second game.

Maine is now 8-8 in America East (12-27 overall). Stony Brook is 14-6 and 25-18.

The teams play one more game Sunday afternoon.
