The UMaine men's basketball team stepped into the Atlantic 10 Conference Sunday afternoon and suffered its 10th loss of the season. Duquesne beat the Bears 72-46 in the game played in Pittsburgh.

Maine got off to a miserable start, turning the ball over 17 in the first half, shooting just 29% from the field while the Dukes shot 48% and the score was 40-16 at the half.

The Bears did play better in the second half, losing on the scoreboard 32-30.

For the game, Maine had 25 turnovers and that led to 41 points by the Dukes.

Isaiah White played all 40 minutes for the Bears and led in scoring with 17.

10 different Dukes players scored. Marcus Weathers led with 13.

The Black Bears drop to 2-10 with one more game before the holidays, a home game vs Central Connecticut next Saturday.

Duquesne improves to 8-2.
