Bucks Dominate Ponies [SCORES]
The Bucksport Golden Bucks finished the LTC regular season they way they started it. A dominating 53-0 win at Foxcroft Academy to complete a 7-0 season, nail down the #1 playoff seed and a first round bye that comes with it.
Behind that big, bruising offensive line Bucksport ran the ball at will and every time the Ponies turned the ball over the Bucks cashed in.
Freshman running back Jaxson Gross scored three touchdowns (five yards, five yards and four yards). He finishes the regular season with 13 TDs.
Sophomore RB Josh Miller scored two TDs in the first quarter as the Bucks opened an early 21-0 lead. Miller scored from eight and 16 yards. He now has 13 TDs.
Bucksport's defense turned turnovers into points. DB Logan Stanley had a 40 yard interception turn into a TD. He also caught a touchdown pass.
Cam Soper also had a scoop and score play.
The (7-0) Bucksport await the first round playoff winner from the #4/#5 bracket.
That matchup is (3-5) Foxcroft at (4-4) Houlton next Friday night.
