Bucks Impressive In Win Over Brewer
The Bucksport Golden Bucks may have served notice to to its fellow Little Ten Conference opponents by taking down Class B Brewer 42-10 in its Friday night exhibition game.
A huge offensive line, averaging 250 pounds per player allowed the Bucks to run the ball as needed and throw the ball when they wanted.
And, that was without standout senior lineman David Gross who did not play as he deals with an injury that he calls minor.
But, his freshman brother, Jaxson, played and scored a touchdown while rushing for over 100 yards.
Bucks QB Brady Findlay threw three TD passes to Logan Stanley.
Bucksport led 6-0 after one quarter, 20-7 at the half and 28-7 after three quarters.
Anthony Chiappone scored the lone touchdown for the Witches and also kicked a 34-yard field goal.
